Bracey man tied up as property stolen
A home invasion early Sunday morning in Bracey reportedly resulted in a male victim being bound and assaulted while two perpetrators stole property from his home.
According to Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m. at a residence in the 2500 block of Great Creek Drive in Bracey.
Dep. Josh Watts responded and met with the victim, who stated he was woken by two individuals who had gained entry into his home. The perpetrators reportedly began to assault the victim and asking him where his money was located.
The victim reported he was tied up and property was stolen from his home.
