CCB feeds the Dragons
Citizens Community Bank (CCB) in South Hill took part in the Feed the Dragons project at Park View High School on Friday night.
The 10-year-old project is back for the 2016 high school football season, and the team and coaches enjoyed a good meal before the game courtesy of the local bank.
Sponsors are now being sought to help with this project, which asks local businesses and organizations to sponsor a meal at a cost of $600 per game. It has been hugely successful, with some of the sponsors continuing each year as well as new ones signing on to help.
Sponsors can have the meal catered and come out and help serve the players before the game and enjoy being a part of the camaraderie of the players and the meal or just lend their support financially to the program.
You can even team up with other businesses to sponsor a game. Any way you help is a win-win situation for those involved, as the kids really benefit from the program in more ways than one.
The sponsors are mentioned on radio, in the newspapers and at the games.
