Get your tickets for the LGVFD Oyster Roast this weekend

There are only about 50 tickets remaining for the Gaston Volunteer Fire Department’s annual Spring Oyster Roast, upcoming this weekend.
This extreamly popular event is a fundraiser for the department and is scheduled for Saturday, March 31, from noon until 4 p.m.
The event will once again be held on the grounds of True Story Acres farm, located at 612 Blackridge Road, between La Crosse and Bracey, near both Tanglewood Shores Golf Club and Rosemont of Virginia Winery.
Tickets for the event are $35 each and will include a full menu of all-you-can-eat raw, steamed of fried oysters, fried fish, hushpuppies and cole slaw. Beer and wine will also be included in the ticket price.
Patrons will be able to watch their oysters being steamed right in front of them on custom-made steam tables. Those who opt for fried oysters will be able to view that process as well.
Only a limited number of tickets are sold for this event, and with only about 50 still remaining, now is the time to get yours!
