Indictments handed down
Drug cases have keep the Mecklenburg Grand Jury busy this month.
Carl Wayne Hines, 41, has been indicted in Mecklenburg for possession with the intent to distribute a controlled substance in the South Hill area. The indictment stems from a July 8, 2017 arrest.
Ralph Alfonzo Gregory, 51, will face possession of cocaine charges after being indicted following an incident in the South Hill area on Sept. 25.
Richard Earl Rhodes III, 20, has been indicted for possession with intent to distribute more than one half ounce but not more than five pounds of marijuanna. The indictment comes following an incident in the South Hill area on Sept. 29.
Y’Asin Shalah Jones, 20, is also facing charges of possession with intent to distribute more than one half ounce but not more than five pounds of marijuanna following an arrest in the South Hill area on Oct. 5.
Jeffrey Ward Jackson, 59, is also facing drug charges after being indicted for possession of cocaine in the South Hill area on August 6.
Andrew Lee Lunsford, 32, is facing charges for the September 16, 2017 break-in at a building owned by Giuseppe Gallina and/or Marino’s Pizza with the intent to commit larceny. intent to commit larceny
Markeith Al-Jamal White, 17, has been indicted in Mecklenburg for the robbery of Zebulon Oliver between June 8 and July 3, 2017 and also of being part of a mob which caused the bodily injury of Zebulon Oliver between June 8, and July 3, 2017. The indictments came after an investigation by the Southside Regional Drug and Gang Task Force.
