Indictments handed down
Meeting on Monday, the Mecklenburg Grand Jury has handed down in several cases reported through the area.
Darius Montrelle Carter, was indicted on Monday on charges of possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, Cocaine. The indictment follows an arrest by the Southside Regional Drug and Gang Taskforce.
Dontarius Jabaria Woods 25, is will face charges of possession of a controlled substance, cocaine, following an arrest in the South Hill area on Sept 2.
Harold Thomas Bennett, III, 24 is also facing charges of possession with intent to distribute more than one half ounce but not more than five pounds of marijuana after a December 24, 2016 arrest in the South Hill area.
Michael Kendall Kaser, 50, was indicted this week on charges of possession of controlled substances, morphine and oxycodone.
Deshay Lamon Harris, will face charges of possession of Cocaine following a September 20, arrest.
Javis Devon Teal, 28, was also indicted this week on charges of possession with intent to distribute more than a half ounce but less than five pounds of marijuanna.
Thomas Wayne Lindsey, 27, was indicted this week on a charge of possession with intent to distribute heroin following investigation by the Southside Drug and Gang Task Force.
Mike Henry Walters, 40, has been indicted in Mecklenburg County for several drug charges stemming from an October arrest. Walkers is facing charges of containing controlled substances, cocaine and methamphetamine and also possess with intent to distribute more than one half ounce but not more than five pounds of marijuana. Melissa Marie Evans, 45, his been indicted on four counts of shoplifting goods from Walmart valued at $200 or more. The incidents allegedly took place in September and October in the South Hill area.
Kandie Marie Deal has also been indicted on charges of shoplifting goods with $200 or more from Walmart in South Hill area on August 9, 2017.
Stanley Raynard Fleming has also been indicted on charges of shoplifting goods from the South Hill Walmart after having been convicted of two similar offenses.
Danny Grey Baptist has been indicted for the theft of property valued at $22 or more from Scott Taylor Ramsey and/or Lawn Sharps in September.
Megan Renee Challenor will face two charges relating to credit card theft and fraud stemming from incidents on July 13.
Gabrielle Linette Alexander, 27, will face charges of shoplifting goods valued at $200 or less from the Chase City Dollar General Store after being convicted of two or more similar offenses.
Stephen M. Wilson, 30, is facing charges of breaking into a property owned by Debra Jackson and theft of property valued at $200 or more following incidents that took place between September 10 and September 22.
Gregory Scott Tuck, 37, is facing charges after being indicted for the theft of property valued at $200 or more from Jonathan Janecke. The charge stems from a September 4, incident in the Clarksville area.
