Jase Smiley benefit to go on as planned
Jase Smiley was the 3-year-old son of Jonathan and Candice Smiley. He had an infectious smile, a spunky personality and an adoration for his big brother, Jacob.
Jase was born with multiple heart conditions and showed admirable strength throughout several surgeries, procedures and hospitalizations. He left this Earth on Sept. 4, 2016, but his courage and his love will never be forgotten.
An event scheduled before Jase’s death will still be held to honore his memory and provide support to his family.
The Shopping Day Event is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the South Hill Elementary School gymnasium, featuring an auction at 12:30 p.m.
There will be multiple vendors set up to sell their wares and donate a portion of their profits to this deserving family. Vendors include Essential Oils, ItWorks, Jamberry, LulaRoe, Magnabilites, Mary Kay, Norwex, Pampered Chef, Pink Zebra, Premier Jewelry, Scentsy, Shakeology/Beachbody, The Ornate Plate, Thirty One, Tiny Blessings Photography, Younique and others.
There will be raffle tickets on sale for door prizes. If you sell for a company that another consultant has already signed up under, please consider donating an item for the raffle or donating your time to help out the day of the event.
Organizers welcome handcrafted items and baked goods for donations also. In addition, there will be a yard sale table where people can donate items that they want to get rid of and the items will be sold to benefit Jase’s family.
They are also asking for donations for the auction. Tiny Blessings Photography will be offering pictures for a fee, and Papa Johns will have pizza to sell.
