Local horse rescue featured in film at festival

A documentary film about the Chase City-based Blue Horse Equine Rescue has been selected to be shown during the upcoming National Wildlife Conservation Film Festival. Scheduled to be held in New York City from October 19-29, the Wildlife Conservation Film Festival & Biodiversity Conference is an international event featuring ten days of film screens, panel discussions, field trips, receptions and conferences. The event is to raise awareness and share information on conservation efforts worldwide.
Rabiah Seminole, founder and operator of Blue Horse said this week she had been surprised to learn that Blue Horse had been selected for inclusion at the festival.
