LOVE Ramp lands in South Hill
In conjunction with the Virginia Tourism Corporation, the “LOVE” has arrived on the ramp located at the entrance to the South Hill Tourism Center and model railroad and doll museums at the side of the South Hill Chamber of Commerce Depot building.
Following in the footsteps of many other towns and localities across Virginia, South Hill’s very own “LOVE” sign now adorns the railing beside the entrance ramp to the chamber, which has affectionately renamed the ramp the “LOVE Ramp.”
LOVE signs, brought to fruition by Virginia Tourism, remind all that anything you love in a vacation you will find in Virginia, the state famous for the “Virginia is for Lovers” slogan.
While South Hill is sure “You Will Love the View” of the area from South Hill, everyone is also invited to view the sign and enjoy the view of the museums and current adorning holiday décor.
The sign has arrived just in time to be on display for the upcoming Tell Santa at the Chamber Depot event, slated for Wednesday, Nov. 30, from 4-7 p.m.
Chamber officials invite the public to stop by the LOVE Ramp at Tell Santa or anytime to take a souvenir photo.
The depot and museums are open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with the exception of Christmas and New Year’s Day. Admission is free.
