Morristown HOA makes donation, challenges others to do the same
Recently, the Morristown Homeowners Association (HOA) made its annual donation to Lake Gaston Fire & EMS in support of funding for continuing operations, underway building renovations and enhancement of services to the community.
This year’s donation in the amount of $10,000 also represents a challenge by the Morristown HOA to the other homeowner associations in the district to step up their continuing support of the department.
“The Morristown Homeowners Association and their residents have actively supported our department since the beginning 27 years ago,” said Lake Gaston Fire & EMS Deputy Chief John Zubrod. “They were and continue to be one of the prime driving forces behind our department going into emergency medical services (EMS) seven years ago, which has proven to be a greatly enhanced value to our community and the surrounding area.”
Lake Gaston Fire & EMS Chief Ricky Elmore stated, “The level of continuing support from our community continues to amaze me. Without this support, we would not have been able to accomplish as much as we have in such a relatively short time that we have been doing this. Our department extends our most heartfelt gratitude to the Morristown HOA, as well as to all the others inside and outside of the community who continue to support us.”
