Three arrested for Lake Gaston break-ins

During the first two weeks of August, numerous break-ins and larcenies occurred in the Bracey and Lake Gaston area.

Investigations by the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office Investigative Division, Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office Investigative Division and Warren County (N.C.) Sheriff Johnnie Williams and his Investigative Division resulted in the arrests of the following individuals.

Gemarious Hardy, 18, of Rudd Trail, Hollister, N.C., was arrested on charges of burglary, grand larceny and larceny with intent to sell. Hardy is incarcerated at Meherrin River Regional Jail under no bond with a court date of Sept. 22 at the Mecklenburg County General District Court.

Donte Robinson, 18, of Cooks Chapel Road, Warrenton, N.C., was arrested on charges of burglary, grand larceny and larceny with intent to sell. Robinson is incarcerated at Warren County Detention Center under no bond awaiting extradition. No court date has been set.

Clarence Thompson, 18, of Occoneechee Trail, Hollister, N.C., was arrested on charges of burglary, grand larceny and larceny with intent to sell. Thompson is incarcerated at Warren County Detention Center under no bond awaiting extradition. No court date has been set.

Hardy, Robinson and Thompson are facing additional charges in Warren County, N.C.

More arrests and charges in Mecklenburg County are expected in these cases.
