You Are Not Alone

Motorcycle club to host annual fundraiser

Exiled Motorcycle Club is gearing up for its 8th Annual You Are Not Alone Day. The annual event raises money for local residents in need.

This year, the event will be focusing on two local children, Johnathan Treakle, who was born with Cytomegalvirus and later diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, and Emberlyn Wray, who was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at 22 months old.

Johnathan currently resides in La Crosse with his mother while Emberlyn resides in La Crosse with her mother, father and big brother.

This year’s fundraising event is slated for Saturday, Oct. 1, and will be held, as in years past, at the Wings Transport building located at 3526 Highway 903 in Bracey.

The event will begin at 8 a.m. with an enormous yard sale, which will be offering a variety of items as well as baked goods.

An auction will follow later in the day, in addition to several raffles.

This year, instead of a poker run, the event will be offering a scavenger hunt for those who wish to participate. The cost will be $20 per motorcycle and $10 per additional hand, which includes a meal.

Registration for the scavenger hunt and the 50/50 raffle will begin at 11 a.m.

The event is also currently seeking all types of donations, including items for the yard sale, monetary donations, gift cards, baked goods, merchandise from local businesses, etc.

All proceeds from this event go directly to benefit the families of Johnathan and Emberlyn.

You Are Not Alone Day was brought to life by Tiffanie Stiltner eight years ago and has been wildly successful in offering support to those in need for the last seven years.

The mission of the event is “to never let a brother or member of our community stand alone in a time of need.”

Exiled reminds people that events like this are only successful when the community gets involved and supports them. Exiled thanks the community for its ongoing support of this event.
